Road test
The idea to test this IPERSPORT outside of the track may seem absurd, but part of the consideration that most of these bikes will not see the curbs never once left the dealer. We chose a path on Pedemontana Treviso, along the road of Prosecco, narrow roads and curves were often dirty the context of our test. Completed, of course, for several kilometers on roads and urban contexts. We have chosen only to avoid the motorway.
First thing to keep in mind when you rely on the terga half of this kind is that the horses are so many (185), while the dimensions are reduced: a mix to be exploited fully, if you are running on the track trying to gnaw tenths second, a mix of knowing how to harness, if you are traveling on roads open to traffic. The saddle is comfortable, as you can be on a IPERSPORT but certainly in the segment is also more comfortable away from the curve where the weight of the body becomes weak for most wrists tire on the area of the lumbar spine. At startup, the Gixxer 1000 will sound hoarse, the first insert silently while the clutch, though soft, off in a slightly 'sharp. A little bad on the track, the more uncomfortable on the road. The Gixxer is beginning to push properly even from low rpm, not forced to always travel in first or second with an engine that screams to 12mila laps; in short, a good pair that allows allegrotte also sailing between 3 and 5 thousand rpm. Clearly, then comes the fun begins to touch something substantial to the 8mila for downloading then explode in a land power that would put a brutal euphemism, so that road would always be perpendicular to all'asfalto when this happens.

Excellent braking, progressive and powerful all'anteriore linking floating discs from 310 mm with radial mount calipers, a perfect curve to correct in the rear that can be crushed at the bottom without hardly ever get to the locking of the wheel. The fully adjustable Showa suspension do their job flawlessly; all'anteriore, unlike the classic bands that have overturned a cartridge embedded within the stem, the BPF (Big Piston Frontfork) eliminates the internal cartridge assembly by two stems and use it with a single pumping exceeding 39.6 mm by running against the wall of the inner tubes from 43 mm titanium-coated carbon steel for improved smoothness. The rear shock works through a leverage of aluminum mounted on the swingarm with extruded aluminum rods connected to the frame. This configuration reduces the ratio of the lever when the rear wheel moves upward, making it more progressive and responsive suspension for better traction on the undulations of the road and a flexible response always the largest in the hole. The shock that lets you manually adjust the rebound damping, spring preload and compression damping at high and low speed. Very useful on the road shock steering with electronic control that is not a speed lower than the 60-70 km / h making it more nimble the bike at low speed.
