Further new elements cocnern the F 800 model's livery, which now shows a particular new colour named “Lahar grey metallic”.

As far as mechanics is concerned, no changes are said to be. The powertrain is still the same twin cylinders developed by BMW Motorrad in partnership with Bombardier Rotax GmbH. This engine can offer an horsepower output of 85 hp at 8000 RPM and an horsepower of 86 Nm at 5800 RPM.
